This is what the mermaid looked like after I pieced her together. I used 2 sheet cakes.
I used white mountain frosting for the body and chocolate buttercream for her hair.
I used both frostings to outline and add details.
This is my interesting oyster with a malted easter egg as the pearl (you get creative). Emma's middle name is Pearl, so that is why this was her personal cake for her 1st birthday.
