I've been doing the little candy turkeys for so many years that I decided to try and find something else this year for Thanksgiving treats. I found these really cute Indian Corn and Acorn treats online at
http://www.familyfun.go.com/. And they were really easy to make!
The acorns are made from donut holes (I used cake donut holes because I couldn't find glazed, but any kind will work!) dipped in chocolate and then in toffee chips with a pretzel stick stem. The corn is made with marshmallow rice krispy treats. I added Reeses Pieces for the Indian corn look. The husks are made from fruit by the foot cut up. I had to wet the backs a little bit with water to get them to stick. So cute!
